My credit card provider has a special arrangement with one of the leading travel insurance providers and as a result I was able to secure a pretty hefty 30% discount on my overall premium. This not only included myself but also my wife and children as well, it really does pay to shop around before you commit to anyone provider

I couldn’t agree more Rob C and it is also prudent to find a credit card providers that charges none or a minimal fee on all oversea cash withdrawals – I withdrew over £500 during my weeks holiday and was only charged the nominal sum of £17 – I think this is tremendous value. Best to check the online credit card comparison sites available.

For the first time last year I used my card for all purchases over 10 euros, this not only saved me money but also allowed me to track exactly where my holiday money spent and what on – Cards are replaceable, cash is not plus your card will still work even if its wet!!!!
