Oh, an Alpine summer would be better than the wintertime I think. It's a lot warmer! I tried trudging around in the snow on the Aussie ski fields once. Not too much fun when you're shivering so much that your toes are gonna fall off! Give me a warm munny hike anyday.

Hmmm sounds like a lot of work hiking through all those hills. I wonder if you can hire a sherper to carry you up. That would be cool. You get to see all the scenery, experience the weather, and can relax up top with a picnic

The trouble with the Alps is that it's all up and down, aren't there any plateaus where you can get a break. At least if you hike to the top of a table mountain you can enjoy the views rather than wondering all the time if you will fall off a cliff.

This sounds like an exciting adventure that i definitely would be interested in looking into further. It sounds like a trek i did in New Zealand not too long ago. It would be interesting to see if I'm still fit enough to do this although the cold might get to me now a days.

Hiking the alps in Summer is such an amazing experience. The cool, dry climate is perfect for a walk, and views are just perfect!
