The Alps in Winter
As the warm weather gives way to the snow of the winter the European Alps really are the only place to be. A combination of the most exhilarating winter sports and a lively après ski scene make for a winter wonderland that is within everyone’s’ budget.

Winter activities
Of course the main reason why the vast majority of people choose to spend their winter in the Alps is the fantastic array of winter sports available. From skiing to snowboarding to speed skating there really is something to suit everyone’s taste and budget. Guests can ski down the powder slopes that have made the Alps famous all around the world or take a sleigh ride through the villages and woods. For a sizeable minority of holiday makers winter sports in the Alps would not be complete without a healthy après ski scene and there is certainly no shortage of people to party with! All in all the Alps are heaven sent for people with a lust for life and those who like clean air, good food and good company.

I have been looking for something to do over winter and this seems like a great idea. I have been reading this page and having a look around and it appears like a great way, especially with the winter sports aspect. Looks a like a great little romantic get away as well.
I’ve been wondering what I should do over the winter apart from staying in doors 24/7. Getting out and active will be awesome. Skiing and snowboarding the ginormous Alps will be brilliant, not to mention meeting other people on the slopes.
Man, I am normally a logfire kinda guy, but reading this makes me want to break a leg or an arm in all that snow. Should be worth it…
Can’t wait until the ski session arrives again. Went to Whistler last time and it was so awesome. However, I heard the Alps is even better! I also really want to try speed skating
Snowboarding in the alps – *sigh* – real snowboarding on real snow! One can only dream – sounds like great fun. I like the logfire idea too though… I’d probably need it since i wouldn’t be used to snowboarding such great mountains
