We are a 24 years old couple who want to visit the alps by summer. Our main goal for the trip is to have some great mountain experiences by foot. We want to reach some great peaks, hopefully higher than 3000 meters above sea, not just hiking around down in the valleys. We are in very good physical shape, but has no climbing or glacier experience. We also want to go by ourselves as guided tours seems to expensive. Which destination would be the best for us?
